CannaGuide publishes an authorization claim only when a recognized authority supports it. Market observations keep their own source and never imply authorization.
Authority first
Federal, provincial, territorial and published Indigenous-authority registries are identified explicitly. Jurisdiction-specific authority is never rewritten as a universal claim.
Snapshots, not memory
Every import keeps the source URL, retrieval time, content digest and immutable raw response. Failed validation cannot replace a known-good snapshot.
Licence and availability stay separate
An authority controls licence status. Retailer-menu observations control only price and availability, and they expire when they become stale.
People approve interpretation
Software extracts facts and may propose matches. Bilingual summaries, ambiguous identities and regulatory analysis require human review.
