Kootenay Quantum - Rare Earth 28g 🗑️

Walked in for a 14g of Dark Rainbow by Woody Nelson but they were out unfortunately. Buddie recommended this one instead. Said they were new drops and fire for the price. I mean I was getting 28g for the price of 14g. Bag felt beefy solid. Never bought anything from this LP before. Had no expectations in mind. Packed just a month ago. I knew it’s not gonna be anywhere near Woody Nelson but with everything else I was sold. Cracking the seal was hit with sweet lemon, pine, mango-ish like aroma. Somewhat you’d get from a decent mid-tier strain. Crushing it was a real pain. Especially if you’re using hands and then roll a joint. Smell is definitely on the strong side. Crushing 1 small nug stank up my unit. Couldn’t get to make it too fine unless I used a grinder. This strain tastes like what it says. I got notes of citrus, pine, slightly different than the usual citrus notes. Like a cross or something. But after a few drags I was disappointed to see that it burns black even though everything upto this point was promising. The effects are something you’d get off from any cheap pre-roll. You would be better off buying other ounces. I was not in to smoke an oz of black smoking weed. Halfway through felt like I was holding a trash pre-roll. I read somewhere that it could be too moist is the reason it burns black. Like the LP dint dry it out properly or flush it? Would burping it fix the issue? Wasn’t expecting to do the work when I just wanted to smoke after purchase. Anyways, what can I do to make it smoke better? Or just toss it? Anyone have any similar experience with this strain? TIA.

Has anyone tried them. Basically no reviews for them. Should i risk it for the biscuit or stick with ganjawises /enigma extracts htfse carts ? If not are other Kootenay labs products relativity good, ive never tried any

Edibles Review

Tried the assorted gummies pack and they taste great. No weird cannabis aftertaste. Nice soft chew, not rubbery. The dosing is consistent which is important for edibles. 30mg before bed and I'm sleeping like a baby. The variety of flavours keeps it interesting. Solid pickup.

Huge dense buds covered in light and dark greens with light purples and orange hairs. Potency was great with a nice sense of calm and happiness. The burn was great with solid white ash. Sweet candy-like terps that are true to the name. 8.8/10.

Blackberry Platinum - February 2026

Went with the Blackberry Platinum, grabbed 3 oz's to stock up. The appearance is really nice with solid greens, purples, tons of bright pistils and good trichome coverage. Buds are dense with slight stickiness. The smell hits hard in the back of the throat with a hint of sweetness and earthy undertones. Potency is great giving a strong body high mixed with a subtle head high. 9/10.

Seasonal Sale Pickup

Took advantage of the seasonal sale and stocked up. Got some great deals on flower and concentrates. Everything arrived within 3 business days. The flower was properly cured and the concentrates were stored in glass jars. Good value overall, though one strain was a bit dryer than I'd like.

Concentrate Sampler

Got the concentrate sampler to try different options. Included shatter, live resin, and budder. All three were quality - clean, flavourful, and potent. The live resin was the standout with amazing terp preservation. Great way to figure out what you like without committing to full grams of each.

First order on thezenco, i bought 1 oz of purple kush by kootenay craft. Not the most good looking but very good taste good scent , almost white ash and light oil ring 🔥. I give 7/10
