(8)Has anyone else noticed a trend of LPs blaming 'sun-grown' for poor curing/harsh smoke lately? Dealing with a rough experience from Kootenay Quantum and feeling pretty dismissed by their support team.
Rare EarthI recently reached out to Kootenay Quantum regarding an ounce of their "Rare Earth" flower. It was harsh, burned black, frequently went out, and was essentially un-smokeable. I sent them a professional, detailed email with photos of the ash and the lot info, hoping for a resolution. \*\*Their response was a textbook example of corporate deflection.\*\* \*\*Key takeaways from their email:\*\* 1. \*\*The "Sun-grown" excuse:\*\* They admitted their labeling had a "gap" (it wasn't marked as sun-grown), but they used that as a shield to explain away the poor burn and harsh smoke. In their view, "sun-grown" is apparently an excuse for bad drying and curing. As if outdoor flower can't be high-quality when processed correctly. 2. \*\*No path to resolution:\*\* Despite acknowledging that my experience was "not the experience we stand behind" they hid behind "industry regulations" to claim they couldn't offer any remedy. 3. \*\*The "Corporate Template":\*\* The response was a boilerplate dismissal. They acknowledged that my feedback carries "weight," yet they offered zero compensation, no replacement, and no path forward for a paying customer stuck with a defective product. \*\*4. The "Standard" Gap:\*\* I’ve had issues with other LPs in the past, and every time I’ve provided factual evidence, those producers have gone above and beyond to make it right, some even sending gift cards or merchandise to compensate for the inconvenience. Furthermore, those teams typically respond within a day or two. Kootenay Quantum took weeks to reply to a single email, and when they finally did, they offered absolutely nothing. It’s clear the issue isn't "industry regulations". It’s a lack of effort and respect for the consumer. It’s clear they are more interested in moving inventory than standing behind the quality of their harvest. They’ve essentially admitted to a failure in their product information and quality control, but they expect the consumer to absorb the financial loss. Has
Monthly Restock - February
Been ordering monthly for about 6 months now and the consistency is what keeps me coming back. Quality stays the same order after order. Shipping is always fast and the packaging is always proper. They've earned my loyalty through reliability. Hard to find that in this market.
Wizard Review
WizardLoud sweet floral with kushy peppery tones. Beautiful colours with mixes of purples and greens. Heavy trichomes on all buds. Burns mostly white ash, very smooth and light. Fruity floral with slight kush exhale. Nice mid coaster where you feel up in the clouds but don't float away. Perfect for daytime use.
Purple Passion - February
Purple PassionFrosty trichome coverage with light purple and green mix and bright orange hairs. Sticky and dense, breaks up clean. Sweet berry and grape candy smell with light earthy finish. Taste follows through smooth and fruity with a creamy exhale. 8.8/10.

Used the first-time coupon code and got an amazing deal on my order. Shipping was fast and the packaging was super discreet. Everything was vacuum sealed inside another sealed bag. The buds were fresh and sticky. Customer service answered my question within an hour. Impressed with the whole experience.

Craft Flower - February 2026
House CraftThese hand-trimmed, slow-cured buds are absolutely stunning. Dense, frosty, and absolutely caked in trichomes. The smell is loud and complex with layers of gas, fruit, and earth. Burns to clean white ash with a greasy resin ring. The high is potent and long-lasting. This is what craft cannabis should be. 9.5/10.

Has anyone else dealt with this kind of "sun-grown" deflection from these guys? I’m curious if this is their standard way of telling a paying customer to kick rocks, or if I just happened to get a particularly bad lot.
